Former Head of Israel Research Institute "Taking the Covid Vaccine was a Mistake"
One of Israel’s most prominent biologists and the former head of the Israel Institute For Biological Research, Prof. Shmuel Shapira, sharply criticized the Israeli Health Ministry for promoting Pfizer’s mRNA vaccines as safe and effective, and regretted taking the vaccine himself. “I am telling the unpleasant truth…about the vaccine that is neither effective nor safe,” Shapira wrote.
“I made three mistakes – with the first vaccine, the second vaccine and the third vaccine,” referring to the Pfizer covid vaccine. The professor added “Who says that those who were vaccinated can’t admit they were wrong?”
“People keep forgetting Israel was ‘volunteered’ as the Lab of the World. There was hardly any data but very brief and minimal size clinical studies.”
He explained: “A Global Disaster. Govt. Database Shows 10,000% Increase In Cancer Reports Due To Covid Vaccines.”
He continued: “the vaccine has very limited effectiveness, maybe for three months and has numerous side effects many of which are severe and have caused loss of life, and they are trying to cover this up.”
"There are many, many reports around the world of heart muscle inflammation linked to this vaccine. Heart muscle inflammation can sometimes be fatal."
The vaccine "harms young people, and can cause serious neurological diseases. And, apparently - I want to be very cautious here because this is only starting to come to light - it can increase the risk of certain kinds of cancer.
In a series of tweets he explained why the mRNA vaccines are so damaging: "The mRNA technology is based on a process that causes the body's cells to act in an unusual way, and produce proteins under the instructions of the immune system in a way that bypasses natural genetics. The process may damages the production of other necessary proteins."
In an interview with Channel 12 , Professor Shapira explained that his his criticism was aimed at mRNA vaccines specifically.
"I'm talking about the vaccine that Israeli citizens received, and some of the other [COVID] vaccines."
"I'm not saying that [the Pfizer] vaccine is completely 'fake,' but I am really not sure if you can consider it a 'vaccine,' and I really advise you to be careful about claims people have made that the vaccine saved many lives here in Israel." "I learned in school years ago what a vaccine is. I am not sure that what we received - what I got - satisfies these criteria. It is something that gives maybe partial effectiveness for perhaps three months; a shot that has many side effects - and serious side effects, which people apparently died because of, though they are trying to obscure this." "As the evidence builds up... it looks more and more like its effectiveness is low, and in some cases is non-existent, and its side effects are significant...
“My criticism of the [Health Ministry’s] conduct during the pandemic and of the mRNA vaccines have absolutely nothing to do with the Institute for Biological Research’s vaccine. My criticisms stem from a desire to protect scientific integrity and a concern for the public.”
Last year he made this statement after protesting the fact that Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla was awarded the Genesis Prize:
“He’s the CEO of a company that did not do this from the goodness of their heart, but merely to rake in billions,” he said. “It is a mediocre vaccine — I was vaccinated three times and got sick. A lot of people got infected after they were vaccinated. Calling the vaccine moderately effective is pretty generous.”
This past year he has intensified his criticism of the Pfizer and mRNA vaccines after witnessing first-hand the short and long term side effects vaccinated people have been experiencing following vaccination.
He has received multiple and in his words "severe" threats in the last month following his public statements regarding the vaccine.
