Joseph's Organic Bakery Sourdough is made with Kamut grain that is stone ground fresh every day. We are the only bakery that makes sourdough with the ancient Kamut grain. Kamut has anti-inflammatory properties. Our stone grinding & preparation process ensures that our sourdough has high nutritional content. Most Sourdough starters and the dough contains white flour. Commercial Flour contains bromides and bleaching agents which gives helps the bread to rise. However these bromides and chemicals are carcinogenic and bad for gut health. Our flour is not commercial flour. It is stone ground fresh the same day. Our flour contains the bran, germ, and endosperm. We don't add bromides or chemicals into our flour to help it rise. Our sourdough is IBS friendly. Our sourdough is Diabetic friendly b/c of the high fiber and high nutrient content.
